War of the Candles

This game is best played outdoors. Divide the group into teams of 6-10. Set the parameters of the game area. Provide each team with a lighted candle. The objective of the game is to be the only team with a lighted candle. Each team has to protect their candle from the wind and from the other teams, and, at the same time, attempt to extinguish the candles of the other teams. Give time for the teams to devise strategies. The teams can do anything to protect their candles (ex. one team actually climbed a tree with their lighted candle). However, to extinguish a candle, participants can only use "blow-power". Physical force is not allowed. Before the game starts, spread the teams as far apart as possible within the game area.
